Ohio State made a very interesting move back in March when they hired an interim head coach, Jake Diebler, to be their new headman for good.
Diebler has gone into the transfer portal this offseason and brought in some elite guys like guard Meechie Johnson Jr from South Carolina, who first started his career for the Buckeyes, Kentucky’s center Aaron Bradshaw, and San Diego State forward Micah Parrish.
The Buckeyes are on a roll in this year’s portal, and it sure just didn’t stop with those three players because, on Friday, another big-time star decided to head to Columbus.
Duke’s star freshman entered the transfer portal earlier in April, and on Friday, he decided he wanted to be a Buckeye. The 6-foot-8 power forward was the 22nd best player according to 247sports.com in the 2023 recruiting class and was the 57th overall player in the transfer portal this season.

Stewart appeared in 33 games and averaged 2.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game. The freshman came off the bench last season for a very stacked Blue Devils team, and now he will have a chance to start this upcoming season for Ohio State.
